|Description||X Amateur Station Tracking and Information Reporting (APRS Program).|
Xastir reads many different map formats (currently 125!) and can automatically select the correct maps for the viewport. Internet map capabilities include street maps, topo maps, and satellite images. Vector maps can be overlaid on top of raster maps. Contiguous topo maps are implemented both for internet maps and local maps. Xastir is a full-featured APRS(tm) program that runs on Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, Mac OSX, HP-UX and Win95 through WinXP.
See the Features link from the Xastir home page for more specific information.
Anonymous CVS is available for those who like to keep up with the developers.
